Gratitude, Modern Ceramic Sculpture, and Thanksgiving

I’d like to take a chance…this Thanksgiving to tell you all the things that I’m grateful for.

I’m grateful that I had the courage to move to Asheville from Washington, DC. You see when I first arrived here I didn’t know anyone, but slowly but surely I met great person after great person and now I have a wonderful circle of friends.

I’m grateful that I get to spend my time making modern ceramic sculpture and table lamps for people’s homes and offices. It’s very fulfilling to know that I make people’s homes come more alive.

I’m grateful for my wonderful dog who greets me with wiggling and a wagging tail every time I come home.

I’m grateful that I get to put most of my energy being creative. For example coming up with new large and small designs for organic modern sculpture or organic wall art. In addition, pretty much every day I get to hear compliments on my modern ceramic table lamps.

I’m grateful for living in Asheville and having the chance to hike through some gorgeous countryside during every season.

I’m grateful for old friends.

I’m grateful that I traveled so much when I was young, so that now I feel content in my life.

I’m grateful for my customer base who is always a delight to work with. Thank you!

What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?

Wishing you safe travel, delicious food, and good company!
