How to Create a Feminine Home Office with Glamorous Artwork
I love female entrepreneurs. They are some of the most interesting people and joyful people that I meet in my line of business. In fact last week I joined Denise Duffield-Thomas' Lucky Bitch Bootcamp which is filled with fabulous ambitious female entrepreneurs all looking to grow their businesses.
One of the big things that Denise talks about is surrounding yourself with positivity...both physical and mental. In particular, you have to decorate your offices for success. This means buying a desk, chair, and artwork that makes you feel abundant and that your business is going in a positive direction...because what you surround yourself with affects you on a conscious and subconscious level. I really believe it.
In celebrate of this I've designed a rather glamorous home office that celebrates feminine power. If you're looking to upgrade your home office, let this room design inspire you. As always, everything is available for purchase. Just click the images.

Thoughts about this Glamorous Home Office with Glamorous Feminine Artwork
The first step in designing this glamorous feminine home office was to pick out some great artwork. I decided to go with this set of abstract canvas prints which for me are the most glamorous of my 2016 collection. I just love them. They're gold and sparkly!
I recommend placing your artwork where you can see it regularly....so for example on the wall that you see when you look up from your desk.
To figure out what size print you need for your specific office and you have a large blank wall in your home office, I recommend that you download my free eguide below - How to Choose Art Sizes for Large Spaces. However, if your office is small or is a nook, download my free eguide How to Choose Art Sizes for Small Spaces from my freebies page.
Every glamorous office needs color so I chose blue...one of the most positive affirming colors in the spectrum. It also has a very feminine feel to it. I chose a simple desk that really suits the way that business is heading...where everything is done on the computer...and very little paper or files are involved. To compliment the desk and add a bit of luxury to the space I chose a light brown leather swivel chair with plush backing for extra comfort.
I then found this fabulously feminine floor lamp which can be placed wherever is most convenient for you in the room. I might even recommend buying two...one for by the desk and one for by the leather sofa. To add a bit of texture under your feet, I found this light beige jute rug with a fabric outlining strip that matches the desk. I also found this super modern and super functional shelf with a storage area for you to display all of your most inspiring and uplifting books. If you'd like some suggestions on books to add to your shelf, click here to see some of my favorites.
If you have a larger office I highly recommend buying a couch for it. I love working from a couch and actually it's where I do my best writing and designing. So for this office I chose this contemporary beige leather couch that matches the swivel chair. I then added this fabulous blue sparkly pillow for added flare (I recommend buying two). To finish off this wonderfully glamorous and feminine home office, I chose these funky little bookends.
I hope you enjoyed it. I certainly enjoyed designing it!
