How to Create a Glamorous Bedroom with Beautiful Artwork
I don't know about you, but when I think of the word 'glamor' I think of 1950s Hollywood...of those fabulous shimmering dresses with long white gloves, stylish furniture, and cars so long that they could cover a football field. It just somehow had a fabulous flare that I just love.
With this in mind, I designed the below room. I also added a certain amount of my own colorful flare...well, because I can't help myself.

Thoughts about this Beautiful Bedroom with Glamorous Artwork
When I started the design of this modern bedroom design, I wanted to make sure that two things were a) dazzling and b) that they complimented each other to a tee. I found that when I paired this pastel abstract canvas artwork with this white leather bed. The artwork's organic hazy pastel quality contrasted nicely with the soft geometric shapes of the bed's headboard.
Depending on your space, I recommend hanging this artwork either over the bed or on a separate wall in a large size. If you'd prefer to hang the abstract canvas print on a separate wall download my free eguide - How to Choose Art Sizes for Large Spaces. If you'd prefer it over the bed, download the below free eguide. It is also available as a rectangle.
To build on the glamor of the white leather bed, I chose a mirrored bedside table and then paired it with a long-necked turquoise table lamp. The table lamp brings out the green in the artwork while also bringing its own boldness to the room. To add some neutral texture, I chose this soft white rug.....which feels great on the toes when you get out of bed first thing in the morning.
I think bed benches are beautiful and glamorous so I knew that this modern bedroom had to have one. So when I found this blue one with tall striking sides I knew it was the one. I then found the matching dresser to the end tables above and was ecstatic to find that it had all of the old Hollywood I was looking for including a mirrored door in the middle. To bring some color to the dresser, I found an aqua jewelry tray made of soft leather.
To finish off the room, I found a comfy white duvet over and pillow set, a stylish textured Euro sham set (with a pillow insert), and my favorite blackout white curtains paired with a simple polished silver curtain rod.
