About

After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I worked in London and traveled throughout Europe. Over the next seven years, I took advantage of all that life had to offer working at Conde Nast for The New Yorker magazine, completing a Master of International Studies at the University of Sydney in Australia, sailing in Sydney’s harbor every chance she got, working for an international development firm in Washington, DC and being a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria.

I am an accomplished artist and author. My ceramic sculptures are featured on Saatchi Art's online gallery and I’ve shown my work at prestigious shows such as the American Craft Council Show in Atlanta (2016) and the Telfair Art Fair in Savannah.

I’ve also written two books The Powerful Room: how to create an awesome life using your home; and Adventures of a Curious Sculptor: a memoir. Both are available on amazon.
